Restoration - J22 Photos - Assembly
 

PUTTING IT ALL BACK TOGETHER
Winter has hit so putting the " J" all back together has been slow. But, it should all be ready by Feburary 2004.

There are many different ways to lay out your deck so try and look at as many photos or other boats as possible. We layed our our deck so the crew would be responsible for all the haylards and pole life. This way the trimmer would soly concentrate on flying the sails.

NOTE: Make sure to counter sink the holes you drill for the hardwear. This will help stop spidercracking in your gelcoat or paint. You'll see the photo below.

Also we are using cut off tennisballs for our spinnaker blocks. They work well in keeping the blocks off the deck and, quiet down the rigging.
